Thomas Scott - CEO
Thomas is a well known figure in the Aged Residential Care sector having managed Private Hospitals for 20 years. He has served on national and regional committees for the NZ Private Hospitals Association and the BOP branch of the Alzheimer's Society and NZ Association of Gerontology.

He trained at Waikato Hospital as a General and Obstetric Nurse and at Tokanui Hospital as a Psychiatric Nurse. Deeply committed to the provision of quality services for the older person Thomas intends to build on McKenzie HealthCares' great reputation for the delivery of quality medical and aged care services.

Hazel Harrison - Nurse Manager


Ensuring McKenzie HealthCare residents receive the highest quality professional care practicable is assured under Hazel's leadership as Nurse Manager. Having been appointed late 2014 to a newly restructured role, with clinical responsibilities, Hazel has extensive industry experience in the delivery of quality aged and palliative care.


Her portfolio includes the management of quality systems, nursing supervision and human resource management. McKenzie HealthCare residents can rest assured that Hazel's passion for quality care will ensure they can expect the best care available.




Jolene Bell - Administration Manager


Jolene has extensive administrative experience and is a welcome new addition to the team.

She provides reception, accounts management and payroll duties for the staff and clients of McKenzie HealthCare. During business hours you are most likely to be greeted by Jolene and she is more than capable of answering most queries you might have, be they staff, client or hospital related. If not, she will know who to refer you to to get the answer you are looking for.

Input into all menus (4 x changes p.A. - 6 Week period). Consultations and education programmes for appropriate staff.


Diversional Therapy

We have an active, well equipped Diversional Therapy department which also runs community day therapy programmes

5 personnel educated and certificated to certification standards by ecolab.
